SCREENWRITING


Golan has been writing screenplays professionally for over two decades. He began his writing career with a spec sale, then went on to write screenplays for Roger Corman and others, until pivoting into representation. He worked with A-list writers such as Damon Lindelof ("Lost"), Anthony Zuiker ("CSI"), and others, helping to develop (and occasionally rewrite) their projects.
He then returned to screenwriting, collaborating with such writers as John Grisham (The Firm), Stan Lee (The Avengers), Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club), David Mamet (The Untouchables), Ronald Bass (Rain Man) and others. He has also been the uncredited force behind rewrites on some of your favorite action films.
Currently a writer for hire, Golan has a plethora of screenwriting services he provides, including:

PRODUCING


Golan began his producing career as one of the first people to put short films on the internet, resulting in him being a part of the biggest-selling short film compilation of all-time. After working at powerhouse CAA, alongside some of the most powerful producers in the industry, Golan joined the producing team at Hypnotic for director Doug Liman (Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The Bourne Identity, “Suits”, etc.). He went on to produce for one of the largest content libraries in the world for Japanese producer Kadokawa (The Ring, The Grudge) before joining Marvel Studios as one of a small cadre of producers who developed the MCU. Since leaving Marvel, Golan has been producing independently. His latest film, Found Footage, produced with Radio Silence (Scream, Ready or Not) is currently in theaters.

Golan received his teaching degree while in the military in 1997. Since then, he has taught from grade school to university and everything in between, including stints at USC, UCLA, Pepperdine, Columbia, and many other respected institutions.
He has also lectured worldwide including at institutions of higher learning in Mexico, Israel, Spain, France, Australia, Germany, Chile, Peru, Bulgaria, and more.
He has been invited to teach master classes on behalf of film festivals, film schools, Fortune 500 companies, and studios worldwide.
He has founded, run or managed some of the largest and most important film non-profits and film festivals in the United States and abroad.
